A Derry woman has pleaded guilty to forging the death certificate of her husband. The Trib reports that 54-year-old Lori Shawley yesterday entered guilty pleas to two felony counts of forgery. Prosecutors say that the woman forged the documents in order to terminate a contract with a construction company she hired to build a garage at her home. Police say that her husband is not dead. She was ordered to serve five years of probation, including one year of house arrest.
