The Arnold Palmer Regional Airport saw a massive decrease in travelers last year. The airport released its 2025 data which shows just over 119-thousand passengers flew through the airport using Spirit Airlines. That number marks the lowest number of travelers the airport has seen since 2011, even lower than during the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020. The airport hopes to see an increase in passengers in the coming months, as flights to Orlando will increase from five flights per week to at least one flight every day of the week. Flights to Myrtle Beach will also resume in April.
