A man serving 25 years in prison for a fatal shooting in Jeannette in 2019 has once again appealed his conviction. The Trib reports that 46-year-old Greg Harper last year unsuccessfully tried to withdraw a guilty plea to a charge of third-degree murder connected with the shooting at Jeannette’s McKee Stadium that killed 48-year-old Damieian Williams during a Jeannette High School Football game. Harper once again is claiming he was strong-armed by his attorney to take a guilty plea. That argument was used last year, and a judge said that the appeal was without merit.
