It came down to the proverbial wire but the Salvation Army of Western Pennsylvania has beaten its goal for its annual red kettle campaign. Salvation Army officials say their volunteers raised more than two-point-four million dollars across 28 counties. The final figure represents 108 percent of the organization’s fundraising goal.
