DISPUTE CONTINUES OVER THE USE OF THE CLUB AT BLACKTHORNE

As a dispute continues over the use of The Club at Blackthorne, the establishment was sold to new owners.  The Trib reports that Anthony and Leah Cifelli, owners of bar service company Ace Bartenders, purchased the facility from former owner Jeannine Schemm for $3.9 million.  This comes as Blackthrone Investors challenges the occupancy permit issued, saying the restaurant should not be in operation in the housing community.  The matter is slated for discussion at the township’s next zoning hearing board meeting, set for 7 p.m. Feb. 12 at the municipal building.
