A Lancaster man was sentenced to up to five years in prison for shooting a truck at Arnold Palmer Regional Airport in 2024. The Trib reports that 24-year-old Tyler Mieczkowski entered guilty pleas to felony counts of aggravated assault and fleeing from police in connection with the Dec. 29, 2024, incident. Police said Mieczkowski fired multiple shots from a handgun into a box truck after it made a delivery to a private vendor’s hangar on airport grounds. No one was hurt. He was ordered to serve two and a half to five years in prison along with two years of probation.
