MELISSA FOX-BEACOM AND MATTHEW BATES TRIAL CONTINUES TODAY

The Trial of Melissa Fox-Beacom and Matthew Bates, who accused of killing Alice Robson, continued yesterday.  The Trib reports that the third suspect in the case, Robert Jack, testified for the prosecution yesterday saying that he was the one who shot Robson in December of 2023.  He also informed jurors that he was offered a sentence of 40 to 80 years on a charge of third degree murder in exchange for his testimony.  His case is still pending.  Closing statements in the trial are expected today.
