A former Torrance State Hospital nurse is now charged with sexually assaulting a patient. The Trib reports that the reported encounters between a patient in the mid-20s and 40-year-old Dana Coxon were recorded on a cellphone that Coxon provided the patient and was later found by police. The patient was in a program designed for criminal sex offenders. Coxon was arraigned on Tuesday on charges of institutional sexual assault and contraband. Bail was set at $100,000 and she is now being held in Westmoreland County Prison. A preliminary hearing is set for March 4th.
