HEMPFIELD SUPERVISORS APPROVE TRANSFER OF SHEETZ LIQUOR LICENSE

Supervisors in Hempfield Township have approved the transfer of a liquor license from outside the area to the soon-to-be-built Sheetz on Route 30.  The Trib reports that the license was also from a Sheetz in Youngwood.  The store, much like many other locations, will sell beer, wine and ready to drink cocktails.  Progress has been moving quickly at the construction site. The exterior of the store building is constructed and the gas pump overhang is standing. The new location is at Route 30 and West Hills Drive, the former site of a Rite Aid, across the highway from Greengate Centre.
