CRASHES IN UNITY AND HEMPFIELD SEND FOUR TO HOSPITAL

Crashes in Unity and Hempfield on Friday sent four people to the hospital.  The Trib reports that the first crash was at 7:45 on Friday morning at the intersection of Depot Street and Silvis Farm Road in Hempfield.  Two vehicles were involved and one person was trapped.  Three were sent to a hospital in Monroeville.  The other crash was at 11:30 on Route 30 at Village Drive as a driver struck a pole and flipped the vehicle.  The driver was also sent to a hospital in Monroeville.
