MANOR RESIDENT NEARLY LOSES MONEY IN LOTTERY SCAM

A Manor resident nearly lost money in a lottery scam, but the bank transaction was stopped before any cash was lost.  The Trib reports that Manor Police Chief Richard Grande is warning everyone about the scam.  A caller using an out-of-state phone number claimed the Manor resident won a lottery jackpot and asked the victim to send money for a processing fee and also asked for their banking information.
