MORE INFORMATION RELEASED ABOUT OVERDOSE DEATH OF 15-MONTH OLD CHILD

More information has been released about the overdose death of a 15-month old child.  The Trib reports that Michael Blesser and Ashley Makarsky are charged in connection with the death of Thomas Blaesser.  Troopers said that his only form of survival was to drink his mother’s breast milk, which likely was tainted due to her reported drug use.  An autopsy determined that Thomas died from Methamphetamine Toxicity.  The two parents are currently in Westmoreland County Jail in lieu of $1 million bail each.
