Bruce Springsteen is partnering with the American Civil Liberties Union in a new campaign to support birthright citizenship.
The singer gave the ACLU permission to use his hit “Born in the U.S.A.” in the 20-second national commercial. The campaign arrives ahead of the April 1st hearing for the case of Trump versus Barbara before the U.S. Supreme Court.
A lawsuit was filed after President Trump’s January 2025 executive order to redefine the Constitution’s 14th Amendment that automatically gives citizenship to anyone born in the U.S.
