JEANNETTE CITY SCHOOL DISTRICT TO USE NEW TRANSPORTATION SERVICE NEXT YEAR

Jeannette City School District will use a new transportation service at the start of next year.  The Trib reports that the school board earlier this month approved a contract with Myers Transportation that will run through 2031 and will save the district at least $43,000.  First Student currently provides busing for the district.  The addition of a cloud-based camera system and high costs were cited as reasons for the switch.
