A local nonprofit is looking to share residents’ cost of living concerns with leaders in Westmoreland County. The group Voices of Westmoreland conducted a survey of nearly 470 citizens, asking them what kinds of expenses worry them the most. Over half of the respondents said they worry every day or frequently about health care and utility bills and over 40 percent said they are often concerned about the cost of food. The organization is hoping to get some of these survey participants together to share their thoughts with county commissions in person next month.
