A Penn Township man remains in jail on charges related to an incident that left a neighbor with a fractured skull and brain bleed. The Trib reports that attorneys for Jake Stepansky asked that his client be released on nominal bond. He was charged with aggravated assault and other crimes connected with the incident where he and another person were wrestling in a driveway and the victim was hurt. Stepansky’s attorney claimed it was an accident from the horseplay, but Judge Christopher Feliciani rejected the request. The judge ordered Stepansky to undergo an evaluation for drug and alcohol addiction while in jail and said he would reconsider a bail request upon its completion.
