WESTMORELAND COUNTY COMMISSIONERS APPOINT INTERIM PUBLIC DEFENDER

Westmoreland County commissioners are appointing an interim public defender.  James Spriestersbach was hired last month to lead the public defender’s office but has suffered a medical emergency that has left him unable to work at this time.  Michael Garofalo has been named as acting public defender — in theory — until Spriestersbach can return to work.
