The former head of the Emergency Management department in North Huntingdon has been selected to lead Mutual Aid Ambulance Service.
The Trib reports that Gene Komodor served in the North Huntingdon emergency management for 13 years will start in his new role as Mutual Aid’s chief executive on Monday. He succeeds Douglas DeForrest, who had held the position close to two years before leaving in June 2022 in what ambulance service spokesman Shawn Penzera said was a “mutual decision.”
Former Coroner Ken Bacha has been the interim CEO since DeForrest left.
