Conditions are going to be windy today throughout Westmoreland County.
The National Weather Service says a wind advisory will start at 10:00 this morning and run until 2:00 Saturday morning. Winds out of the southeast are expected to go between 20 and 30 miles an hour, with gusts up to 50 miles an hour expected for Westmoreland County, the higher elevations and other areas.
Winds can make driving especially difficult for high-profile vehicles, and extra caution is advised.
