A Dravosburg man was ordered to serve up to 12 years in state prison for guilty pleas related to a high-speed chase in parts of Westmoreland and Fayette Counties.
The Trib reports that 42-year-old Nicholas Haluschak pleaded guilty to felony drug possession and fleeing from police for an incident that started in Rostraver on November 29th of 2020. He pulled away from a state trooper after he stopped for a traffic stop, and led police on the chase on Route 51 before crashing his car on Tony Row Road in Star Junction.
Authorities found heroin, meth, $1500 in cash and a loaded pistol in the car.
