Twenty eight members of Westmoreland County’s law enforcement community were commemorated on Thursday during the county’s second annual Law Enforcement Memorial Service.
The Trib reports that the ceremony was held at Greensburg’s Saint Clair Park. The ceremony coincides with national peace officers memorial day and national police week. The ceremony is not only meant to honor the heroes who made the ultimate sacrifice in the line of duty, but also the families that carry on their memories.
