The trial of two men who are charged in connection with a shooting in downtown Greensburg has been delayed as defense attorneys and prosecutors try to work out details to resolve the attempted homicide cases.
The Trib reports that the lawyers for Evan Curley and Steve German said that negotiations towards potential plea bargains are ongoing. The two are charged with the shooting in January 2022 outside the Rialto Bistro that injured one of the suspects and an innocent bystander. During previous court appearances, lawyers said both men would claim the other initiated the shootout as part of self-defense claims.
