A Pennsylvania State Police fire marshal determined fireworks caused a house fire in Penn Township on Monday night, according to Trooper Steve Limani.
There was minor damage to the home on Dolly Avenue. Crews were called there after 10 p.m. Harrison City Volunteer Fire Department Chief Gene Good said siding on the home was melted and flames spread into the attic. He also said firefighters were able to get a very quick knockdown.
Residents were home at the time and able to escape. No injuries were reported.
