Westmoreland County commissioners will hold their first voting meeting of the month on the road in Historic Hanna’s Town.
The Trib reports that the meeting will be held under a pavilion at the historic site, and there will be a full agenda of business items. Historic Hanna’s Town is the site of the first county seat. The meeting is being held as part of the county’s 250th anniversary celebration.
As a nod to the county’s birthday celebration, the commissioners are expected to approve proclamations related to Westmoreland’s founding. A town crier in period dress will be on hand to make public announcements.
