Prosecutors are still deciding whether to seek the death penalty against a Harrison nurse who allegedly killed two patients and injured a third under her care.
The Trib reports that 40-year-old Heather Pressdee was in a court in Butler County yesterday for a preliminary hearing, which she waived. She is charged with two counts of criminal homicide along with single counts of attempted murder, aggravated assault and other crimes. Police say that she administered insulin to two non-diabetic patients and a third patient who was non-insulin-dependent at the Quality Life Services-Chicora in Donegal township.
It’s not known if Pressdee will pursue a plea deal.
