State police have charged an Aliquippa woman with aggravated assault by a vehicle while driving under the influence in connection with a crash in mid-April.
The Trib reports that 44-year-old Jammie Lynn Koslof was arrested on Tuesday State police said Holly Marcheck of Latrobe was waiting at a red light on Route 22 west at 9 a.m. on her BMW motorcycle when Koslof, driving a Hyundai Tucson, rear-ended the bike. Police interviewed Koslof while she was still inside her SUV and reported that she was confused, disoriented and had pinpoint pupils and appeared lethargic. She told authorities she was heading home from visiting someone in Altoona, and that she had taken medication and used a THC Vape Pen the night before.
A blood test showed that Koslof had cocaine, prescription medication and THC in her system, according to court papers. She is being held in lieu of $25,000 bail and a preliminary hearing is set for June 19th.
