An Arnold Police officer has been cleared of the final charge connected with allegations that he illegally killed an antlered deer.
The Trib reports that District Judge Carolyn Bengel dismissed the third and final charge filed against 30-year-old Jacob Pollock of Murrysville after a hearing held on Wednesday. The state game commission had charged him with witness intimidation in connection with a case that dated back to October 11th where he was accused of unlawfully shooting an antlered whitetail deer outside legal hunting hours on October 11th. He was found not guilty of a summary unlawful killing charge, and a charge of tampering with evidence was withdrawn.
Pollock has been on suspension since the investigation but cannot be reinstated until his state certification is reactivated. He is expected to return to duty.
