A Duquesne man is in custody for violating a protection from abuse order by going to an apartment in irwin for the second time in as many days.
The Trib reports that on one occasion, 23-year-old Gerald Brown allegedly followed a woman out to her vehicle, breaking a door handle and threatening to break a window with a rock. On the first occasion, borough police said Brown violated the order at 12:20 p.m. Tuesday when he broke into the apartment and fled in a red Cadillac.
Brown is being held at Westmoreland County Prison with no bail set. A preliminary hearing is set for June 27th.
