A man from Springdale Township now faces drug distribution charges for an incident in Allegheny Township back in late March.
The Trib reports that 20-year-old Demitri Fritch will have a preliminary hearing on July 11th. An Allegheny Township police officer wrote in a criminal complaint that he was on patrol at 1:36 a.m. March 28 in the area of South Leechburg Hill at Route 356 when he saw a white Audi, driven by Fritch, with dark-tinted windows and a burned-out left brake light. Fritch pulled into the Honey Bear gas station, then left after he noticed police were following him. When he was eventually pulled over, he told police he had marijuana in the car with him.
Police found marijuana and an oxycodone pill in the car.
