A Murrysville woman who is the owner and operator of a cleaning company is charged with stealing from homes where she worked.
The Trib reports that 48-year-old Holly Simpson was charged in late May with theft and receiving stolen property after a client on Trillium Drive claimed she stole bracelets, chains and rings. Police said Simpson then sold 18 pieces of jewelry at two pawn shops in the Monroeville area in April and May. On Wednesday, police say another client came forward with a claim that she stole more than $5,000 worth of Jewelry, and police were able to trace the sale of that jewelry to a Monroeville pawn shop.
Simpson is free on her own recognizance and will be back in court on July 11th for a preliminary hearing on new charges of theft and receiving stolen property.
