The operator of Murrysville Golf Club is looking to file a lawsuit against the landlord to retain control of the business.
The Trib reports that J.K. Golf, Inc. wants to have an arbitration panel weigh in on the issue. The company claims that the landlord, BIB real estate, has refused to negotiate terms of a three-year contract extension to continue operations. The 10-year lease expires next spring, but there are options for two three-year extensions with renegotiated rents. J.K. Golf representatives believe that now they have made a viable business, BIB real estate wants to take the business away.
