A Mt. Pleasant Township man was found not guilty of felony aggravated assault, simple assault and disorderly conduct in connection with an alleged shooting at his Pine Street home two years ago.
The Trib reports Richard Teeters was convicted of a lesser charge of reckless endangerment. Police claimed he fired a round through an attic window as officers approached his home in response to an alleged home invasion call. He came out 30 minutes after officers arrived and surrendered to police.
Teeters will remain free on $250,000 bail until he is sentenced in about three months.
