PennDOT has announced some lane restrictions starting next week on the Matthew Smelser Memorial Bridge in Rostraver Township.
Reports say that the restrictions will be in place between Exit 49 (Smithton) and Exits 46B/46A (Route 51). They will start at 9:00 AM on Monday, October 2, and end at 5:00 AM on Tuesday, October 3. During this time, barriers will be removed and the eastbound travel lane will be closed by the Golden Triangle Construction Company crew. Motorists are advised to be cautious and turn on headlights when passing through the work zone.
This is a part of the larger $120.6 million Interstate 70 Project. The work is weather permitting.
