One of the men involved in the death of Daniel McNerny in 2016 was sentenced yesterday.
The Tribune-Review reports that 20-year-old Austin Krinock was sentenced to serve at least 34 years in prison for the conviction of second-degree murder, robbery and other offenses. Krinock was convicted in August for his part in the robbery of a Pittsburgh-area drug dealer in January 2016. Prosecutors said Krinock took part in the robbery, brought the weapon used in the shooting, failed to stop his co-defendants from performing the robbery, and helped try to cover up the crime.
One of Krinock’s co-conspirators, Zachary McGrath, will have his trial next month, and he faces charges of first degree murder. The other, Colin Gearhart, will have his trial in March.
