A sixth-grade boy was hit by a vehicle outside the Hillcrest Intermediate School North Huntingdon this morning.
The Trib reports that the boy was hit in front of the school along Mockingbird Drive as he was walking to school. North Huntingdon fire and police crews responded to the scene and the boy was taken to UPMC Children’s Hospital in Pittsburgh for treatment.
Superintendent Jeff Taylor said that counselors and social workers will be available for students needing help today.
