A Fayette County man is now charged with a fatal crash last year in North Huntingdon.
The Trib reports that 20-year-old Jason Lee Pernick surrendered on Thursday in connection with the crash on November 10th of last year that killed 78-year-old Nancy Pedder and left four others injured at the intersection of Route 30 and Colonial Manor Road. Police believe that Pernick was driving nearly double the 40-mile-an-hour speed limit at the time.
Pernick faces charges of homicide by vehicle, aggravated assault by vehicle, reckless endangerment and other offenses. He is now free on $25,000 bond.
