Irwin Borough Council has named the replacement for Leslie Savage, who resigned last month.
The Trib reports that Amanda Morrison, who operates the non-profit Come Talk, Inc. was unanimously selected by council on Tuesday to fill the vacancy. She will fill the rest of Savage’s term, which goes until December of 2025. It was the second time in five months that borough council filled a vacancy due to a resignation.
Councilman Nick Powanda was appointed in September to fill the remainder of Michael Yunn’s term. Powanda won a full four-year term in the November election.
