A New York City man was arrested in an undercover fentanyl sting near the New Stanton Turnpike interchange.
The Trib reports that 38-year-old Adrian Wright of Queens was denied bail on multiple drug charges. Police were working an undercover operation with Wright as their target. Troopers had made multiple controlled buys before Wednesday night’s bust and the drugs were found hidden in a toy bus that was inside his SUV.
State Police Public Information Officer Trooper Jason Limani said that Wednesday’s bust will “put a nice little dent in the fentanyl being distributed in Southwestern Pennsylvania and, specifically, Westmoreland County.”
