A Scottdale contractor has pleaded guilty to charges of home improvement fraud. The Trib reports that Jason Pirl was accused of bilking 17 people out of money in home-improvement schemes that go back to 2017. He pleaded guilty to 20 felony counts in seven different cases where he never finished the work that he was contracted to do. Overall, he cheated customers out of $150,000. A sentencing hearing will be held later this year.
