WESTMORELAND COUNTY COMMISSIONERS TO HOLD 3 PUBLIC MEETINGS ON THE ROAD

Westmoreland County’s Commissioners have announced that they will hold three public meetings on the road.  The Trib reports that the three meetings outside the courthouse will be held at the activity center of Northmoreland Park on June 6th at 7 PM, the Student Achievement Center at Westmoreland County Community College near Youngwood on July 18th at 10 AM and the Cedar Creek Park Activity Center in Rostraver on August 22nd at 7 PM.  Also, the commissioners changed the meeting time for the April 4th meeting from the normal 10 AM  timeslot to 7 PM.  This is being done as an attempt to have more citizens at meetings and give them a chance to engage with the government, according to Commissioner Doug Chew.
