UNIVERSITY POLICE INVESTIGATE THREATENING NOTE AT IUP

IUP’s university police are investigating a threatening note left inside one of the class buildings on campus.  An announcement was made this morning to university students about the threat where a bullet and a threatening note were left on the first floor of Leonard Hall.  IUP representatives say that the investigation is underway, but there is no imminent threat, so there are no cancellations of classes or activities.  Students were also notified of mental health resources available on campus should they feel troubled by the incident.  The university will release more information as the investigation continues.
