EXPORT MAN RECEIVES 2024 EARNEST LONG SELFLESS SERVANT AWARD

A man who spent decades working on industrial development and nature conservation around Export is being honored by the borough. Larry Larese was presented with the 2024 Earnest Long Selfless Servant Award earlier this month. Larese worked as a Westmoreland County planner and was director for the area’s industrial development corporation. He was also involved in putting together the Westmoreland County Land Trust and sat on the board of the Turtle Creek Watershed Association as they worked to clean up abandoned mine runoff.
