CARBON HONORS 14TH QUARTERMASTER UNIT

The community of Carbon held a special ceremony yesterday to honor those from the 14th Quartermaster unit of the Army Reserve who were killed in 1991 in a scud missile attack in Saudi Arabia. The Trib reports that thirteen members of that detachment were killed during Operation Desert Storm. The families of those who died shared stories of their loved ones, then filled a vase with red, white and blue sand which was then sprinkled outside the monument.
