The Hempfield Area School District has hired the former Franklin Regional superintendent as a consultant to help find Hempfield’s next superintendent. The Trib reports that the district will work with education consultant Peter Emery D’Arcangelo to help find a replacement for Tammy Wolicki, who retired on January 22nd after an extended leave of absence. He will be paid $100 an hour with a maximum cost of $12,500. Officials say the district is looking across the state for candidates and will also accept applications from within the district.
