One motorist was injured in a multi-vehicle crash that temporarily blocked one lane of eastbound traffic Wednesday afternoon on the Pennsylvania Turnpike just past the New Stanton interchange. A woman in a passenger car was injured and was taken by ambulance to Independence Health Frick Hospital in Mt. Pleasant for treatment, according to Youngwood Fire Chief Lloyd Crago. Other vehicles involved included two tractor-trailers and a pickup truck hauling a construction trailer, he said. The wreck was reported at about 3:15 p.m. at milepost 75.2, according to turnpike spokesman Crispin Havener.
