A woman is accused of stealing $4000 from Laurel Valley Senior Citizens Corporation while she worked there as a director. The Trib reports that 53-year-old Rocky Jo Yeager is charged with theft and receiving stolen property. State police said that she wrote checks to herself from the non-profit group, saying that she was reimbursing her for purchases she never made between 2019 and 2022. Yeager also allegedly made unauthorized purchases with a corporate credit card, with the balance of the card was paid off the day she was fired. Yeager is free on $3000 unsecured bail with a preliminary hearing on March 15th.
