ANNUAL CHARTER DAY AT BUSHY RUN BATTLEFIELD

The annual Charter Day celebration is happening at Bushy Run Battlefield in Penn Township this weekend. The event is planned for Sunday to mark 343 years since the founding of Pennsylvania. Guests will be able to meet reenactors playing the roles of William Penn, early commonwealth settlers, and Native Americans who called the region home. The celebration is free and is open to the public.
