A bridge over Turtle Creek in Murrysville had its weight limit reduced for the second time in the last few years. The Trib reports that the limit for the bridge near the intersection of Old William Penn and Hills Church Road was reduced from 16 tons to six tons. The reduction came as a result of periodic inspections. The reduction will cause some traffic problems as some emergency vehicles and school buses are over the limit. Officials say they have started to apply for DCED money to help secure money to fix the bridge.
