ONE PERSON KILLED IN INDIANA COUNTY CRASH

One person was killed in a crash Sunday afternoon in nearby Indiana County. State Police say that a 62-year-old woman from Armagh in East Wheatfield Township tried to turn left onto Route 22 at the intersection with West Philadelphia Street and crossed into the path of a car driven by a 21-year-old Homestead woman going east. An eight-year-old girl in the Armagh woman’s car was killed in the accident. State police continue to investigate the circumstances in the crash. Troopers were assisted on scene on Sunday by the Armagh-East Wheatfield and Clyde fire departments, Citizens’ Ambulance and PennDOT.
