A man was ordered to serve time in State Prison in connection with an Arnold-based drug ring authorities said operated throughout the Pittsburgh region. The Trib reports 48-year-old Michael Terrance Scott of Parma, Ohio pleaded guilty to charges of corrupt organizations and possession with intent to deliver for his part in a drug ring that operated in Allegheny, Westmoreland and Armstrong Counties along with Cleveland. Agents said they used a confidential informant to make nine controlled drug buys from Scott and they monitored his cell phone. Bags of cocaine and fentanyl were confiscated during a search warrant at the Arnold apartment. He was ordered to serve five to ten years in state prison but was given credit for time already served.
